Australian logistics startup Passel has been invited to be one of two Australian participants at FounderX in Silicon Valley from May 22-24.

FounderX (fX) is the Founder Institute’s premier semi-annual gathering of fast-growing Graduates, top-rated Mentors and leading program Directors from a global network of technology entrepreneurs.

Said Mike Suprovici, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Founder Institute, “FounderX is exclusive to the top Founder Institute Graduates.  It’s great that Marshall from Passel is in attendance.  His company has a lot of potential.”

Passel is a crowdsourced delivery service to help retailers gain more sales by providing inexpensive and convenient same-day home deliveries for their online orders.

“It’s a terrific chance for a startup from Melbourne to gain some global exposure and significant networking and investing opportunities.” said Passel CEO & Founder, Marshall Hughes.

“Passel is a very early-stage startup and opportunities like this typically aren’t made available to businesses our size. The timing is particularly good given Amazon’s imminent arrival into the Australian market and the focus of all retailers on final mile home deliveries”.

Over three days of FounderX, hand-selected members of the Founder Institute network from six continents will visit Silicon Valley for a series of networking events, workshops and formal dinners.
